We are pleased to announce that the Air Quality Management District survey results are in, and California State University Long Beach has achieved our highest AVR (Average Vehicle Ridership) to date: 1.41. Very, very few universities in the South Coast Air Basin are able to get this close to the AQMD's target AVR of 1.5 people per vehicle, and it is an accomplishment that we should all be proud of.
We could not have achieved this goal without your time and effort and change in commute habits, as well as alternate transportation programs such as the U-Pass.
